Violence consists of a murder that occurs just off-screen and some shootings, while plenty of people are killed in various ways by various species of snakes. A couple briefly shares a joint and there's brief drinking, while some characters have bad attitudes ranging from the villains to everyday passengers , and various bits of behavior might be enticing for some kids to imitate.

A woman drinks from a flask during the flight. A passenger orders a gin and tonic. Upon hearing that the snakes are being affected by some drug really just pheromones , Flynn sarcastically quips, "Snakes on crack. The man tells Sean to run, so he does and hides, and we then see Eddie and his thugs approach this man.
The criminal then punches the guy in the chest still upside down before taking a baseball bat and repeatedly striking the man, killing him.
We hear but don't see the impact, but do see the victim's blood on Eddie's face and clothing. A man sneezes into his hands and then, with no tissue present, wipes them on his clothing. We see a man's urine stream as he stands at the bathroom toilet, from which a snake uncoils itself and then apparently latches onto his unseen penis we see the snake at the spot as the man writhes about, but we don't see the nudity.
The man then accidentally bangs his head back against the wall, leaving a fair amount of blood there. A woman nearly vomits into an air sickness bag, but a snake pops up through that and bites her on the mouth and possibly goes inside it.
We later see her with a badly swollen lip and face. During a panic, a man falls in the aisle and is trampled by others, including one woman whose high heel lands in and breaks off in his ear, leaving a bloody mess. When the door is opened, a dead couple tumbles out of the plane's bathroom with bloody marks and such on their skin. Ken grabs a snake, throws it into a microwave oven and then starts it, resulting in the snake exploding in a bloody mess.
The snakes come after Mercedes who's on the floor, and she accidentally pulls down a dead and bloody body before another passenger saves her just in time.
A cobra bites Tommy on the arm, leaving a bloody wound that quickly swells up. Maria later uses her earring to slice open the wound, resulting in blood, pus and fluid spilling out. She then uses her mouth to suck out the poison. Grace hears Maria's infant crying and races back to find it, only to see a large rattlesnake menacingly approaching the child.
She manages to grab the kid, but the snake lashes out and bites her on the clothed shoulder, leaving a bloody stain there. A mortally wounded man's chest is bloody and otherwise swollen and bad looking. We briefly see black and white photos of bad-looking snake bite wounds featuring split-open skin and such. Claire cuts a snake in two with an ax with bloody results. The makeshift wall of odds and ends holding the snakes back collapses and the snakes then race toward the survivors.
They try to scramble up the stairs, but the railing breaks and many fall back down to the floor, with some being impaled, including one through his neck with very bloody results. Flynn kills two snakes with bloody results by striking them with something. As a rattlesnake comes after Flynn who falls down with it approaching, he shoots and kills it with a spear gun with bloody results.
A dead and slightly bloody man falls out when the cockpit door opens, and Flynn and others see various snakes in the now pilot-less cockpit. A snake lunges out and gets Sean on the chest, with Flynn then shooting it and Sean several times, with bloody results. But Sean is okay as we see he was wearing a bulletproof vest.
A first-class passenger has a bad and condescending attitude toward the crew and other passengers on the flight after he's bumped from first-class to coach. When the same happens to Mercedes, she asks if it's safe to sit back there. Three G's is a germophobe who doesn't like anyone touching him, and eventually loses it during the pandemonium, gets belligerent, pushes a woman backwards and then grabs and holds Flynn's gun on the FBI agent before Troy talks him down.
Rick somewhat playfully says he hoped Claire would be his "sky candy" on the flight. About a large woman, Three G's jokes "Baby got back meaning a big butt , front and side" and then jokes about her and Troy who's also large having large kids.
The film portrays Ken as being gay for most of the story and a male passenger believes that to be the case when it seems Ken is interested in him , but we later learn that's not true when his sexy wife greets him by jumping up on him, straddling him -- while he's standing and both are clothed -- with her legs wrapped around him. To try to keep a snake away from him, one man throws Mercedes' dog to it the snake quickly coils around it.
A man's body he's still alive and is somewhat bloody suddenly drops down and hangs upside down in front of Sean in Hawaii. Sean hears and then sees through the peep hole some of Kim's goons trying to break into his room. Flynn then suddenly grabs Sean just as the men enter. He then shoots and wounds two and fires at another before fleeing with Sean.
The crate of snakes opens in the cargo hold, and various varieties slither out. A cat in a carrying crate hisses, and one snake slithers into it, presumably killing the cat we don't see the impact, but do see that crate moving from the attack. As a couple has sex in the bathroom, we see a snake slithering toward a hole in the ceiling looking down at them. It then hangs down, the woman sees it, and it then repeatedly strikes her and the guy, killing them.
The snakes inadvertently short out part of the plane's electronics as it flies through a bad thunderstorm at night, tens of thousands of feet above the ocean. We see a snake slithering toward a woman's bare foot, but she coincidentally raises it up just in the nick of time.
We see a large snake rise up toward a woman's dress or skirt as she sleeps on the plane. Later, she has a pleasured but still sleeping look on her face from the contact as the snake continues up, now under her top. A snake crawls into Mercedes' bag and she reaches into that, not knowing the snake is there and just avoids being bit. There are several moments of bad turbulence on the plane.
A snake suddenly bites the pilot on the neck. Air masks drop from the plane's ceiling, along with some snakes, so it's hard to tell some of them apart as mass panic breaks out on the plane. A snake suddenly bites a person in the eye. The passengers and crew try to build a makeshift wall out of anything they can find to keep the snakes in another part of the plane. We see a large snake crawl out of a dead person's mouth.
Various people use fire extinguishers to try to ward off the snakes. Flynn informs the crew and passengers that they must collect dead snakes so that Price can identify them over the phone.
A snake suddenly bites Rick and he falls down to the floor below through an open hatch. With no pilot, the plane goes into a steep dive toward the ocean, and Flynn and Claire struggle to regain control of it and pull it up before it hits the water. During this, some runaway carts nearly hit or do hit some people quite hard. Snakes repeatedly bite and one spits poison at a couple seated on the floor, killing them.
Other people are bit on the neck and killed. A large constrictor wraps around a man in a seat, crushing and suffocating him, just before stretching its mouth out over his head as it starts to swallow him we don't see that act through to its conclusion. The crew and passengers must contend with the air conditioning shutting off, resulting in the plane being quite toasty inside.
Upset over people touching him, Three G's pushes one woman, and grabs and holds Flynn's gun on him before Troy talks him down. Most of the lights go out on the plane. Flynn must go down into the cargo hold to try to turn the AC back on, but must crawl through all sorts of wires and cabling that occasionally resemble snakes. Harris chases after a suspect who goes into a barn of sorts and twice shoots at the FBI agent with a rifle.
Harris eventually shoots and wounds him, causing the man to fall into and shatter a glass cage holding a deadly snake. It bites that man on the leg, and Harris won't let him have the antivenom until the man tells him everything he wants to know. Several additional characters die from their snake wounds.
The crew and passengers ready themselves for Flynn shooting out a window to cause the cabin to loose air pressure and the snakes to be yanked out of the plane. He then shoots the window several times, the air is sucked out, Tiffany and Claire hang on as their bodies go horizontal and Sean saves the former , and Flynn opens the cockpit door, resulting in snakes flying by various people including one landing on Mercedes until another passenger removes it from her on their way out of the hole in the side of the plane that keeps getting bigger.
Troy lands the plane without ever having flown a real one , but comes in too fast, with Flynn yelling for him to turn and apply the brakes.
